This trip dates back to 2004. I operated holiday
style from a hotel room in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife.
Most of the QSOs were very relaxed and kind of rag chew.
Besides making contacts I enjoyed studying
propagation on 10m. Many beacons from EU, NA and SA could be
heard. All in all it
was lots of fun.

The hotel management wasn't cooperative at all:
No antenna outside the balcony was allowed. Thus I operated
with a simple inverted V for 10 metres.
